- Headteacher's Welcome
As headteacher, I am delighted to welcome you to Surlingham Primary School.
Ours is a warm, nurturing and vibrant small school located six miles south of Norwich, close to the River Yare and Norfolk Broads National Park. We work in collaboration with our community to make meaningful contributions that ensure academic and personal success for every child.
Our inclusive values of Respect, Resilience, Resourcefulness and Reach underpin all that we do. Our school is centred on a culture of excellence where we respect each other, are self-motivated and determined, have a thirst for learning and a belief that we can all achieve great things.
At Surlingham Primary School, we pride ourselves on creating exciting learning opportunities that both make the most out of our local environment and encourage inquiry and discovery. We do this through the implementation of a wide-ranging and ambitious curriculum of the highest quality, which enables each child to develop a broad range of knowledge and skills to become confident and independent lifelong learners.
We would like to extend an open invitation to all prospective parents to come and see this in action, and meet our friendly children and dedicated staff team. Please do not hesitate to contact the school office to arrange a visit. We look forward to meeting you.
